REIVI project 2019–2021: Enhancing climate cooperation between municipalities and companies

REIVI project developed and promoted climate cooperation between municipalities and companies. The project aimed at reducing the greenhouse gas emissions of companies and corporations, in particular SMEs and industry, and creating effective instruments and models of collaboration for Fisu municipalities and companies to speed up their climate action. 

The project collected functional and systematic methods to encourage companies and corporations to take climate action.

As a result of the project, a clear and applicable action model was created, which:

1. offers tools for companies to reduce the climate impact of their operations,
2. enables networking between municipalities and companies, and
3. highlights the existing models and commitments on the national level.

REIVI was an independent project of the Fisu network that operated from 2019 to 2021. These projects promote resource wisdom in Fisu municipalities and offer tools for other municipalities as well.
